I can still remember the tight rolled Girbaud/Complement jeans and Adidas sneakers, which were usually topped off with a champion sweatshirt/turtleneck combo. This style may not have been popular in other states and probably wasn’t a hit in the Back Bay or Beacon Hill – but kids on the streets of Boston from Hyde Park to East Boston had the look perfected.
